Participant Dashboard redesign

Roles : UX Strategist, Researcher, Information architect, Copy Writer

Limitations : Reskin only, we could not update any data points included on the page.

The participant dashboard is a critical part of sales conversations, besides laying the foundation for users to navigate the critical details of their retirement plan. Based on page usage and clients surveys, we updated the hierarchy to improve ease of use. We also Included the flexibility to add and remove messaging as needed to promote products or handle sponsor requests.

Impact

  • High favorability with sales team.

  • 80% of savers surveyed said this page is much better than similar pages for other financial websites.

  • Increased traffic to outlook and managed account pages.

“The site looked great. I actually wanted to explore, whereas my current provider (Fidelity) is so old and unintuitively laid out that I just check my balance every now and then and leave.”

    – Saver comment

BRAND VARIATIONS

Ascensus has its own branded experiences and supports a number of partner brands. Accounting for color variations by brand while remaining accessibly and manageable from a design and development stand point was a secondary goal in our redesign.
