We launched the READYSAVE retirement app about 3 years ago to serve our clients and our partners’ clients. We began with the top used pages on desktop and the one most important transaction: updating how much to save for retirement.

We did competitive analysis and user research to prioritize one delighter for our partners, advisors, and sponsor clients, who are all interested in seeing participants save enough for retirement. When a user lowers their contribution rate, we show a message of what that change means to their paycheck today and to their monthly income in retirement.

Impact : Deflected 1/3 of users who were trying to decrease their retirement contribution rate in the mobile app.
